Middle School Girls Movie Night

COST: $6 for movie ticket + spending $$ for popcorn, drinks, etc

In 1960s Baltimore, dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on ''The Corny Collins Show'' and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Perhaps her status as a new teen sensation is enough to topple Corny's reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show. Based on the 1988 film and subsequent Broadway musical.

Summer Schedule

Our school year for middle school girls small group is winding to a close, can you believe it? In just 3 short weeks we will have our last meeting on May 29th and our schedule will move into summer time mode. Remember to bring your secret sister a final treat and we will end our year in the final chapters of our book.

Some things to look forward to this summer ....

Summer Time Book Club (STBC) - We will meet every other Sunday afternoon, find a good book to read thru out the summer and relax in the sun together.

Summer Scream - Join us July 22nd - 26th when Summer Scream Gets ... ANIMATED!

BBQ & Sleepover - August will bring summer to a close but a chance to reconnect with friends and officially welcome in our new 6th grade girls.

Denise In Charge

Hi Ladies,

Denise will be in charge tomorrow evening at group. Please, be prepared and bring your Bibles and study books. If you have not received a book please find me this weekend and/or give me a call or e-mail and I will hand deliver it to your house before the end of the week.

Updating Pic

Several people have mentioned that we need to update our picture on the blog. It was just taken 2 weeks ago and it just happens that we had several people not there on that Tuesday night. We will plan on taking another picture on this upcoming Tuesday night, April 24th. Please, spread the word and be there if possible so that you are on our fun webpage!

Keep reading our study book, remember to finish Chapter 1 & 2 and come prepared with a reflective thought or two on your reading.

Beginning a New Study

If you received our new book this week, Diaries of a Teenage Girl, at group then you should be ready to begin our new study. If you are one of the few that did not receive a book but are anxiously awaiting one please send me a quick e-mail or phone call and I will mail a copy of the first 2 chapters out to you ASAP.

As you begin to read thru the book and get a feel for the writing style it might be a good idea to have a piece of paper nearby. You can begin to jot down notes and points of interest that jump out at you as you read. We want to hear your thoughts at group on Tuesday!!
